Report a Sighting

When reporting your bird sightings, please include the reason/s for your report based on the purposes stated in the overview - rare or unusual birds outside their normal range, unusually high or low numbers, early or late arrivals or departures for migrant species and interesting behaviour or unusual habitat usage. Your e-mail address must be included with your bird sightings reports so we can contact you if there are any queries we may have. If we can't contact you for clarifications, we will not publish.

If there are any special site access issues relating to the sightings you are submitting (e.g. the birds are on private land and other birders will not be able to get access), please state this below.

Your email address will not be published on the web but is required in case further information on the sighting is needed.

Please ensure you have the right to copy any photograph that you upload.

Sightings are reviewed and published daily. Median time to publication over the past week is 1 hour 2 minutes.

If you select a site from the drop-down list your report will be published with a link to the corresponding eBird Hotspot report. If you provide an eBird checklist number, your report will be published with a link to the eBird checklist.
