Fassifern Ponds, MacGregor
Probably two birds observed feeding in grevillea on the north side of the pond in company with, and being harassed by, White-plumed and Yellow-face Honeyeaters. While the bird's movements made it difficult to be certain of the count, judging by the amount of yellow showing in the triangle behind the bird's eyes, it would appear to be two. As far as I can ascertain this is the first record of the species in the ACT. [Mod: a single bird was seen in nearby Queanbeyan (NSW) recently and there is an earlier record of a bird observed in the Brindabella Ranges in the past decade]. eBird checklist
